Sri Harmandir Sahib, famously referred to as the Golden Temple, is the holy Gurudwara of Sikhs, founded by Sri Guru Ram Das Ji. Originally constructed to provide the spiritual space for Sikhs to devote themselves to God, the temple was later rebuilt with layers of gold embracing it. The temple is encircled by quiet water pool , adding on to the serenity and rejuvenation that the Golden Temple offers.

A public garden established in 1951, the Jallianwala Bagh Memorial was built to commemorate the death of innocent Indians who were killed during the 1919 massacre. The garden still has walls with bullet marks and the well where people drowned themselves to escape the British officials.
